Some Latin-help, please?

I was watching NCIS yesterday (Murder 2.0), wherein the crew finds a note in the first victim’s mouth:

http://www.primitus-victor.com

which Abby translates as ‘the first victim’. I don’t think that’s correct. Victor means winner, but what does ‘primitus’ mean?

  1. ‘Primitus’ does mean ‘first’, or ‘for the first time’.

‘Victor’ indeed means ‘winner’, so ‘primitus victor’ would mean ‘the first winner’, not ‘victim’. Silly Latin illiterate script writers 😉
